Do you mind waiting a minute? I’ll just pop into the bathroom. - 진영이 엄마 그래요. 엘리베이터 앞에서 기다리고 있을게요.
Sure. I’ll be waiting in front of the elevator.
The Immediate Future in -(으)ㄹ게요 attaches to Processive Plain Bases only, is almost always first-person (I or we), and conveys to the hearer a reassuring, usually beneficial, and promise-like future which is immediate in the sense that the action to be performed is within the direct control of the speaker who has every intention of seeing that the action is carried through.
The -(으)ㄹ of this ending is the same prospective modifier which goes into suggestions in -(으)ㄹ까요, and the Probable Future in -(으)ㄹ 거예요 , and about which you will learn more in Lesson 23.

B: 내가 들고 있을게요.
Let me hold it for you. or: Here, I’ll hold it for you. - A (on the phone): 오늘 올래요?
Do you wanna come over today?
B: 내일 갈게요.
I’ll come [‘go’] tomorrow. - A: 이 숙제를 모레까지 마치세요.
Please finish this homework by the day after tomorrow.
B: 네, 할게요.
Sure, I will.
